Installation & usage tips
– Choose the correct version before setup: WiFi requires a 2.4 GHz network; Zigbee requires a Tuya Zigbee Hub (other Zigbee hubs or Zigbee2MQTT are not supported).
– Allow 30–60 minutes after placement for the sensor to stabilize and match room conditions for the most accurate readings.
– Place the sensor where it gets a good wireless signal; poor signal increases transmission power and shortens battery life.

Battery guidelines & longevity
– Use only LR03 1.5V alkaline AAA batteries. Do not use 1.2V rechargeable cells — they may report low voltage.
– Do not mix battery brands, types, or new and used batteries.
– Avoid installing the sensor in locations with extreme cold (long-term temps below 0°C/32°F), very high humidity, or where the wireless signal is weak — these conditions can accelerate battery drain or cause corrosion.
